Academy Information
Ages: The On Goal Academy is open to players from U4-U13 (birthdays 8/1/2007 to 7/31/1999)
Location: All training is held at the On Goal Soccer Fields at Eastside Christian Church in Milford. Match location will depend on age group.
Registration: There are spots available in most age groups for the Spring 2011 season. Tryouts for the Fall 2011 season will be held starting May 23 for most age groups. See the Academy tryout page for complete information.

FAQ
Where do the Academy players compete? To supplement On Goal’s emphasis on excellent training, Academy players compete in the On Goal Academy League, the Elite Players League, in friendly matches against local clubs as well as in a limited number of tournaments.
How old do players have to be to be a part of the Academy? To participate in the Academy you must have been born on or after 8/1/2007. You can find your child’s age group by referencing the age group chart.
Are there tryouts for the Academy? U4-U6 players are grouped by age/gender into player pools and there are no tryouts. The number of players may be limited in order to maintain the best player pool size for quality training and individual development. Teams are formed at U7 and in order to allow everyone a place to play, tryouts are conducted. Tryouts for the Spring 2011 Season will be held Monday, October 10 through Thursday, October 13. What is the training and playing schedule? U4 through U6 players will train once each week for one hour. Players U7 and older will train twice each week for 75 to 90 minutes depending on the age group. All On Goal Academy SuperLeague (U4-U6 only) matches will be on Saturday mornings and we will try to avoid Sunday play if possible for every age group. Training schedules can be viewed here.
