Tom Fite, Founder/Director – Passion FC Director of Coach
Tom grew up in Milford, Ohio and developed a passion for soccer at a young age. An All-Ohio player at Milford High School, he still holds the combined goals and assists record. Tom attended Cedarville University where he was a four-year starter and two-year captain. He was an NAIA All-American and the first NSCAA All-American at the university. Tom has been inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame for both Milford High School and Cedarville University. After college, he played professional indoor soccer with the Memphis Storm, Dayton Dynamo, and the Jackson Rockers. Tom founded On Goal in 1985 and continued to compete and coach in countries all over the world. He holds an NSCAA National Coaching License and has a vast array of coaching experience.
Sommer Rodolph, Program Coordinator / Passion FC Coach
Sommer grew up in Casper, Wyoming. Although a competitive athlete, she did not start playing soccer until she was 13. She quickly became a strong player for her high school and then for Maranatha Baptist Bible College. A four-year starter with the Crusaders, she was captain and assistant coach her senior year, received All-Conference honorable mentions two years, and was an All-Conference player two years. She held the record for most goals until 2010. Sommer was hired onto the coaching staff at Maranatha from 2008-2010, taking them to the NCCAA National Championships and the competition’s championship game. Her success at Maranatha earned her the 2010 NSCAA/Mondo National Coaches of the Year Award – NCCAA Division II Women. She has also ministered through soccer on team mission trips to Germany and Zambia. Sommer has been on full-time staff with On Goal since 2011.
Jessica Clarke – Passion FC Coach
Coach Jess learned to play soccer in middle school while living as a missionary kid in Guatemala. She was an attacking midfielder and team captain for Lansing Christian High School in Lansing, MI. From 2007 to 2010, Jess played for Spring Arbor University where she started out as a center-back but was reassigned to striker registering 24 goals and 17 assists. Three of those assists were tallied in the NCCAA National Championships where Jess helped lead the Cougars to their first championship title. In 2011, Jess played in the Women’s Premier Soccer League for the BuxMont Torch FC in Souderton, PA. In 2012-2013 she was on staff with Fellowship of Christian Athletes, working with and encouraging the athletes at Syracuse University as they develop into positive leaders in their sport, school, and community.
Austin Sides, Camp Coordinator / Passion FC Coach
Coach Austin grew up in Grand Haven, Michigan where he began playing soccer at the age of four. He played for the Tri-Cities Strikers from a young age and continued throughout high school, serving as the team’s captain many seasons. Austin credits this elite level of soccer experience with allowing him to gain leadership skills and knowledge of the game. His love for soccer continued to grow as he played for Cedarville University. While in college, Austin developed a desire to coach and see players grow in the sport. He has used his abilities in multiple soccer programs including a home-school soccer league and Soccer for Success through the YMCA. In 2011, Austin began coaching On Goal Soccer Camps and has loved the camp setting ever since. This passion has led him to West Africa to coach and also to develop a soccer camp in his hometown called “Luminous Feet.” Austin joined On Goal full-time in the spring of 2014.
Morgan Sides, Program Coordinator / Passion FC Coach
Coach Morgan grew up in Batavia, Ohio. She started playing soccer at age 4 and continued to play through college. As a holding midfielder and freshman for Wright State University, she scored the winning goal against Milwaukee University, a team her school had not beaten in 10 years. Going into the 2012 season, she contributed to Wright State’s NCAA Division 1 statistical ranking of 18th place for its goals against average, and 27th place ranking for the team’s shutout percentage. She appeared in 60 matches throughout her college career and was named team captain her senior year. In her final year at Wright State she served as Athletes in Action’s team representative, encouraging her teammates through Bible studies and events led by AIA. Morgan has coached On Goal Soccer Camps since 2010 and joined On Goal’s full-time staff in 2014.
Krhisty Pinto, Futsal Development Coordinator / Passion FC Coach
Krhisty grew up in Itanhaem, Brazil, and like all Brazilians, started playing soccer at a very young age. His competitive career started when he played for a few futsal academies, accumulating awards such as Top Scorer, Best Young Player, and Most Assists. Transitioning to outdoor soccer in his teen years, he played professionally for Parana’ F.C., Santo Andre’, and Pogon (out of Poland). After playing professionally, Krhis began coaching for various high level clubs in his home country. From 2007 – 2012 Khristy volunteered with On Goal’s Brazil Project during which time he met and married his wife Ruani. In 2013, the couple traveled to Peru serving as missionaries. Running soccer camps, they shared the love of Jesus through soccer for 3 months in the city of Lima and for 3 months in a very remote village. Krhisty and Ruani joined On Goal’s full-time staff in the USA in July 2014.
Ruani Gonçalves, Strength and Fitness Coordinator / Passion FC Coach
Ruani grew up in Campo Grande, Brazil. She started playing for a soccer club called Pelezinho when she was 5 years old. Ruani also played for her high school team and for the top team in her city, Seleção de Itanhaém. From 2007 – 2012 Ruani volunteered with On Goal’s Brazil Project during which time she met and married her husband, Krhisty. In 2013, the couple traveled to Peru serving as missionaries. While running soccer camps, they shared the love of Jesus through soccer for 3 months in the city of Lima and for 3 months in a very remote village. Krhisty and Ruani joined On Goal’s full-time staff in the USA in July 2014.
